On to Christmas morning. We set up a web chat session so that Tiffany's abuela and abuelo could see her open her gifts and see the reaction to what Santa brought. Man, I love technology!!!! Distance is not a problem anymore.
She got clothes and a beautiful red coat with black furlike trim on the cuffs and collar. Several DVD's --Beauty and the Beast, Pinocchio, some Dora the Explorer and Blues Clues. Stuffed animal's and a Abuelita Rosa doll that sings to her in Spanish. She had so much great stuff that she didn't know where to start.
Santa brought her a four wheeler and a bunch of pretend food and Lincoln logs and aDora play phone. Also toy cars, an art kit with crayons and paint and markers and some books. She has all sorts of entertainment and fun in front of her.
Then to the Mindaks for Christmas dinner. Baked Ziti and salad and lots of yummy appetizers. Tiffany got two Dr. Seuss collections and some big girl undies and the Cars DVD. She also got to video chat with her Uncle Mark and Aunt Alice out on the west coast in Oregon.
Someone sounds like a very lucky and loved little girl to me.
My Christmas wish is that EVERY child know what it feels like to be special and loved. The presents are nice but being able to say I love you to them is a treasure beyond words.
Merry Christmas everyone.
